Visit to the Natural History Museum Library and Archives
Wednesday 11th November 2026, 2.00 - 3.30 p.m.
Visit the Natural History Museum's Library and Archives to learn about one of the world's foremost natural history research collections. The visit will include an introduction to the history, collections and current priorities of the Library and Archives, a tour of selected library and archive spaces, and an opportunity to view highlights from the Museum's collection of rare books, manuscripts, archives and artworks. Guests will gain an insight into the work of the Library and Archives department and how it supports research and collections curation within a major national museum.
Lifts are available for accessibility purposes - if you have mobility issues, please could you indicate when booking a place. Information on how to get to the Natural History Museum can be found here.
Attendees should meet at the staff entrance (Flett) on Exhibition Road and report to the entrance desk to security and we will be collected from there by the host.
If you have any queries about the visit, please contact Vicky Robertson at v.robertson@ucl.ac.uk
Please be aware that places are limited, with a maximum capacity of 15 participants.
