CILIP ILIG: IFLA WLIC - Reflections on the Past and Opportunities for 2027

Join us for an online panel discussion exploring experiences of past IFLA World Library and Information Congresses (WLIC) and the opportunities that lie ahead for 2027.

Bringing together colleagues who have participated in previous congresses, this event will offer an opportunity to reflect on key experiences, share insights and lessons learned, and discuss the professional connections, collaborations, and ideas that have emerged from attending IFLA WLIC.

The discussion will also explore the different ways to participate, contribute to the profession, build international connections, and make the most of opportunities offered by IFLA.

Whether you have attended a previous congress, are considering participating for the first time, or are simply curious about how to become more involved in the international library community, this event is for you.

There will be an opportunity to exchange ideas, ask questions, and discover ways to contribute through volunteering and professional engagement.
