Founded in 1911, the Society of Genealogists is a charity dedicated to helping people discover their place in history. Over more than a century, the Society has built a remarkable library collection of over 150,000 resources as well as thousands of documents and pedigrees and over 700 deposited family history research collections.
Join us as Research Collections Coordinator Christine Worthington delivers a brief presentation and takes us on a tour of the Society’s new library with a display of some of their treasures, followed by refreshments.
There are lifts for anyone needing them. The society has free lockers for belongings (using a pound coin which is returned after use).
