Our second webinar will help librarians build their knowledge and confidence in understanding the growing challenge of climate misinformation and disinformation and draw inspiration from local and global initiatives under this theme. As part of Green Libraries Week, the session will explore how to recognise misleading or false climate claims, identify reliable sources of information, and support library users in finding and evaluating trustworthy climate information.
Part of the webinar will also focus specifically on resources and practical approaches that school libraries can use to help children and young people develop the skills to navigate climate information and misinformation. The session will provide useful knowledge, tools and ideas that librarians can take away and apply in their own library settings.
We have two speakers who will represent the European Commission and the Met Office Education Outreach team.
Please note: The webinar is open to all non-members and members. You will need to create a guest account to book your ticket if you are a non-member. Follow the link below to create your account and book your space.
