Havering Libraries are near the end of a year long Plants for Pollinators awareness project which has involved:

• Planting and creating a pollinator friendly library garden
• Raising community awareness of pollinator decline, the causes and how we can help
• Themed new book collections for all ages
• Havering Reads for Children - in partnership with local schools we invited local children to read two books on the theme in the Spring.
• Pledge walls for rewilding and helping pollinators
• Live online author events
• Story times and craft activities
• Poetry and art competitions
