Join us to explore how the UK Print Book Collection (UK PBC) is transforming the way libraries safeguard access to scarce print monographs. This national collaboration, supported by RLUK, SCONUL, Jisc and the British Library, coordinates retention across the sector to ensure that at least seven libraries hold a copy of each print book. Powered by the National Bibliographic Knowledgebase (NBK), it gives libraries the confidence to make space and collections decisions without risking long‑term access.
This session will show how the UK PBC works in practice, what it means for your institution, and how being part of this initiative can strengthen both local and national collections.
